cramped room rough towels
The room felt quite cramped. There was hardly any space to store luggage or clothing i found this inconvenient i also observed that staff entered my room before checkout time this reminded me of an intrusion of privacy. i prefer hotel personnel to respect the stated checkout time. finally the provided towels felt rather rough against the skin. I expect softer, more luxurious towels.

the pub downstairs is convenient for food and drinks. complimentary tea, coffee, and sweets were available too!

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
The bed was very comfortable with good duvets and pillows.
The room faced the main road and there was constant traffic noise all night. It made sleeping difficult.

great location accommodating staff street noise poor insulation
the location was great. it was a short bus ride to the underground station. access to water and milk in a fridge was a nice addition. staff was accommodating to my needs
my room faced the street. there was traffic all night. the window provided poor insulation so street noise was constant.

surprisingly good stay
great location nice toiletries comfortable bed free sweets
location was great for getting around. the room had nice toiletries and quality linen, which i always appreciate. i found a comfortable bed with tea, coffee, and sweets, provided free of charge. a river nearby offered a place for a walk.
the street outside the hotel was a little noisy, and i could hear traffic through the night. it wasn't a major issue for me, but lighter sleepers might find it bothersome.

the hotel sits above a lively pub, made grabbing food and drinks very easy. the pub below had a very fun atmosphere, with a convenient and social option for meals after my day.

the position is good, providing easy access to transportation. with the bus stop right outside, getting to the 02 was quick. the train station around the corner made trips into the city accessible.
